As 2018 draws to a close, we’re looking forward to next year and all that it will bring – particularly the opportunity to welcome the newest members of the Wharton family. Last week, we got to do our favorite part of the job: making the phone calls to let prospective students know they’ve been admitted to the Wharton MBA Class of 2021. This is the highlight of every round of applications. The joy and excitement we hear when sharing this news is exhilarating and infectious.
To those of you that applied in Round 1, we were honored to get to know you and meet so many of you over the past few months, whether on campus or around the globe. We know deciding to attend business school is a journey and, sometimes, the hardest part is in waiting for the decision. Thank you for allowing us to learn more about you, and for taking the time to get to know more about us.
Congratulations again to those admitted to the Class of 2021 in Round 1! We can’t wait to see you at Wharton. As you navigate the decision-making process, I encourage you to register for Welcome Weekend in January, an opportunity to learn more about us and the place we hope you will call home for the next two years.
Our next application deadline is just a few weeks away on January 3, 2019. Good luck to all working on your applications for Round 2, and if you’re considering applying in Round 3 remember, spring is a great time to come see Wharton for yourself through our Campus Visit Program. Our spring campus visits kick off in late January and run through April. As always, please reach out to our office with any questions; note that our office will be closed December 21 through January 2.
