It’s hard to believe that the deadline for the Moelis Advance Access Program is just days away, but here we are! You’ve worked hard to develop your essays and connect with your recommenders, but you may be anxious about this next step: pressing ‘submit’ on your application. I’m here to calm any last-minute fears with a few reminders.
First, if you’re waiting on your recommenders, don’t delay submitting your application if this is the only piece remaining. You can apply before your recommenders submit their letters. As long as you submit your application to the Moelis Advance Access Program by the March 23 deadline (11:59 p.m. ET), your application will be considered complete.
Next, it is possible to submit your test scores until April 11 and have your Moelis Advance Access Program application reviewed for this cycle. How do you do this? On the Test Information page of your application, simply respond “no” to the two questions about whether you took the GMAT or GRE exams. An additional question will appear allowing you to either share your scheduled test date or provide a reason for not having scores (i.e., medical, technology, scheduling/geographic). Any response appropriate to you is acceptable. Then, you can complete and submit your application by the deadline.
Finally, don’t forget to take a moment to appreciate all the work you’ve done to get to this point. Once you submit your application, the hard part is over. You will receive an update on the next stage of the application process on April 15, 2021. If you’re invited to interview, you will complete the interview via Zoom along with a cohort of other Moelis Advance Access applicants. We’ll share all that you need to prepare beforehand.
If you are not invited to interview for the Moelis Advance Access Program, remember, this is only one pathway to the Wharton MBA. We will share this decision on April 15, 2021 so that you can move forward with other plans, and we encourage you to stay in touch as you consider the MBA in your future.
